Laura Davison, a counselor and hypnotherapist, wanted to create a new website from scratch. She wanted a professional and calming brand that would draw in new patients.
First, a branding sheet was created by developing a color scheme and a new logo. As part of a team, I was able to come up with the winning logo and adjust it to meet the desired look of the client. I went with an approach of natural wisdom and a symbolic uplifting of the counselor and patient.
A new sitemap was developed based on the list of conditions the counselor treats and the list of conditions that hypnotherapy can help with. The main three headings included who we help, mental health, and hypnosis.
For a professional approach, many of the pages include badges, common questions, or a quote from the counselor herself. Images that connect with the viewer help break up the topics on each page. Common topics include information about the type of service, common symptoms, and how this service can help the patient.
Specialized graphics were created to help share the process of KAP in an easy to understand visual. The most important aspect of this page was sharing the importance of the treatment and answering any questions the patient would have that could make them question the treatment method.
Lastly, I was tasked with developing relevant blogs that included SEO keywords. These blogs were based on the topics that the counselor came up with and from the main services offered.
